FAQ
Here are the general guidelines we use to determine when we clear:
- Have we got 2-6” during the day? Expect a clearing during the night following the city plows
- Have we got >6” during the day? Expect a clearing during the day and another during the night following the city plows
- Has your city sent out all plows during the day creating a large, impassable, berms for a majority of the driveways? Expect a berm (i.e. end of driveway) clearing during the day
We require a seasonal contract for anyone that wishes to receive our services on a regular basis (See pricing for more details). However, anyone in our service area can contact us for one-time service requests (e.g. coming back from vacation, snowblower being repaired, etc…) and we will perform the one-time services the next time our tractors are out clearing our seasonal customers.
For all one-time service requests, please complete this form. We will contact you to confirm if we can perform the service.
Although we would love to be able to guarantee a 7 AM arrival time, it would be deceptive advertising. We have no control over when the snow will start or end! Prior to each storm, we email out when we plan to clear so you know what to expect for that given storm.
Our most common departure time in Houghton and Hancock is 2 AM for an overnight clearing, in which case all driveways are cleared by 7 AM. In Calumet and Laurium, we usually dispatch at 4 am and are done by 11am (except in Florida and Centennial Heights which we go to later due to the county cleaning those areas later). If you live in Laurium or Calumet Township east of 41 (see orange highlighted area below), you can pay an additional 35% to get priority service usually by 8am. Please give us a call (906-261-7669) or email us (Support@AllUPSnowBlowing.com) so we can discuss you unique situation and needs.

Due to high demand, we are opening up our service area for the 24-25 season to include Calumet and Laurium. Homes on the blue streets below are in the current service area. Interested in our service but live outside of the area below? Click HERE to let us know!
Houghton/Hancock (49931/49930)

Calumet/Laurium (49913)

We also service Centennial Heights north of Calumet, but it is just not shown in the image above.
We currently partner with High Point Lawn Care to offer shoveling. If you are interested in this, please contact Isaak at 906-275-9914 to get an estimate.
Absolutely. Our operators are trained to work around cars. Please see our guide on parking in the driveway HERE.
We understand that sometimes driveways don’t fit the mold. Call us to discuss an estimate.
All UP’s business model is centered on efficiency. We use the right tool for the job which allows us to be faster than a typical plow. Plows work great for commercial lots, but they are not as fast as the latest snow blowing technology in driveways. This efficiency is what allows us to set our prices where they are.
We estimate an additional $175 per car width beyond three. Call us if you have any questions.
All UP has eleven tractors with thirteen snowblowers. We utilize ten tractors full time with the eleventh as a backup as well as additional support during large storms. So if a snowblower breaks, we will put a backup snowblower on the tractor. If the tractor breaks, we will bring the backup tractor online. All UP has the capability to fix the vast majority of potential mechanical and electrical issues with multiple spare parts on the shelf just in case.

Mailboxes that get hit from snow from the plows (i.e. that are at the road), are an additional $50/season. This enables our teams to periodically come around and clear around the sides of the mailboxes with a different style snowblower designed for the task. If your mailbox is not at the roadside, the $50 is not applicable to you and we will not clear around your mailbox. If you share a mailbox area with other neighbors, who are also customers, we split the amount owed (e.g. if two customers share a mailbox area, each pays $25).
We include the early and late months to provide full coverage and peace of mind, even though snow is usually light. Pricing focuses on the heavy snowfall months (December–March), and our full-season rates ensure consistent pricing and complete coverage whenever snow arrives — after all, we live in the Keweenaw, where early fall and late spring snow can happen.
Your spot is confirmed when you accept the contract and pay in full or set up monthly installments. The season starts October 1, so we recommend signing up by then.
Yes! Seasonal contracts can be paid in monthly installments, with each installment automatically charged to your card on file.
Yes, we are able to offer service to customers with gravel driveways, however we cannot guarantee that gravel will not be displaced onto your lawn. To help prevent that, there may be times at the start and end of the season where we opt to not clear your driveway.
Yes, we are fully insured with a general liability policy.
